everybody runsAsics Aggies’ Reyes and SRA’s Kibii prevail at the NorCal 10

The PAUSATF Road Grand Prix kicked off with the NorCal John Frank Memorial 10-Mile today in Redding. For the men, Sergio Reyes, 32, from Los Osos, out-kicked the field to win in an impressive 48:51. Meanwhile, Auburn’s Jane Kibii, 28, won handily amongst the women with a 58:42 finish.

The top local man was Lincoln’s Tim Tollefson, 28, who finished 3rd overall in 51:21.

Ghelfi, Tollefson Finish Tops at Bidwell Classic Half Marathon

Meanwhile, at the classic Bidwell Classic Half Marathon in Chico, Eric Ghelfi, 21, was the big winner in 1:09:17. Lindsay Tollefson, 28, of Lincoln, won the women’s race in 1:19:08, despite some apparently sketchy course marshaling by volunteers.

Running in Yer Undies

Chris Badolato, 36, came all the way from Reno to run in his underpants through Land Park this morning at the Undy 5000. He ran away with the win in 17:32.

The top-female at this quirky event was 11-year-old Natalie Harper, who finished in a no-fooling-around time of 19:51.
